The Sound
First sundays over the Milford Sound, New Zealand, the day after finishing the famous 4 days hike, the Milford track.
Such a weather in this place is absolutely not common, as it rains approximatively 7 meters a year at Milford Sound, one of the wettest places on earth.
I woke up just before the sunrise, and immediately looked at the sky through the window, even if the forecast was, as usual, rain.
Eyes still half-closed, I thought it was totally overcast, as the sky seemed like all grey. After a shower to wake me up, I finally realized that the sky was actually all blue without any cloud.
I got dressed in a few seconds, and ten minutes later, I was on the shore, tripod in place to start shooting the first rays over the sound.
2 hours later, the rain was back, but I left the place happy, I got what I was looking for.
